Walk the Line movie

“Walk the Line” is an American drama movie about famous singer. This movie tells about love and hate, happiness and misfortune, hard way of person with rich but conflicting inside world. It’s a touching story based on true events. Its main character is Johnny Cash – legend of country music.

 

Plot

Johnny starts his way as a decent family man. He has a pretty wife and a work place in a sale company. But Johnny dreams of another life: bright, wealthy and interesting, without its usual routine. John sings and plays in a small group. Their rehearsals take place at John’s house. But Vivian hates all these songs. Her husband can hardly earn some money to pay for rent. They quarrel all the time.

One day John sees a recording studio in the street and meets its owner. John’s band has a chance to be auditioned. Johnny sings his own song – “Walk the Line” written during the war. And…they’ve got a chance.

Johnny Cash and his band are taken in an American music tour. There Johnny meets the girl of his dream – June. He’s listened to her songs since childhood even before his brother had died.

Johnny falls in love with June though his family (wife and three children) is waiting for him at home. But now June becomes the one for him. Johnny has a chance to win June’s heart but he can’t avoid easy of access drugs that are so popular in the star world. Cash becomes drug addict. The doses raise and one day Johnny goes out right on the stage.

John leaves his family and falls into deep depression. Time passes and John becomes extremely popular country singer. But personality conflict rises in him day after day. June doesn’t want to live with drug addict but she always tries to help him. But Johnny doesn’t give up and tries to win June’s heart.
