Plot

John Nash is a student of Princeton University. He is settled down with other student named Charles. Nash is extremely talented mathematician. He is unsociable and dreams to write own research work. But his roommate is quite different person. Charles often has a spree. He likes drinking and meeting girls. And this two contrasting people become friends.



In university John meets the love of his life. Nash and Alicia marry and move to a big house. They love each other and have really good relations. But one day John’s life is changed. He is involved in a national operation where his task is decrypting secret massages hided in newspaper articles. He should see repeated letters in different words and combine them in a single massage. Nash becomes an important figure and plays great role in American history.



Alicia gives a birth to a child. But married life becomes worse. The relationships between John and Alicia go bad. And that time Nash meets his old friend Charles again. Charles helps him to understand life better. He accepts life easily and Nash tires to make the same thing.


But things are not as they seem to be. Reality is unexpected and quite cruel. Nash is a madman. He is really extremely clever but he lives in imaginary world. There are no national operations and secret massages. There is no Charles – it’s only Nash’s fantasy…
