Plot

The movie starts when an old man reads to an old woman in nursing home. He is reading an exciting story about great love. The woman listens with pleasure. She likes this story about pretty girl and nice guy, and their amazing love affair. It happened with someone but not with her…

 

The story read by an old man tells about poor guy living in provincial town. He works hard to earn some money and lives with his father. One day Noah meets a beautiful girl. Allie spends summer in this village. She is from wealthy family and her parents dream to find an appropriate match for their daughter.

 

But from this moment Allie’s heart belongs to one man. She falls in love with Noah. They start dating and are really happy together. This is the most beautiful summer in their lives.

 

But Allie should leave this place for studying in New-York.

 

Noah and Allie are separated. Time passes but feeling doesn’t die. Though Allie met another man and is going to marry him, she still remembers Noah. And one day they meet after long years. Now they are adult, but love boils in their hearts as many years ago.

 

Noah: I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough.
